My name is Chetan. I recently completed my bachelors of construction management (Honours). And I’m currently working as an assistant project manager. My interest in construction began at an early age, influenced by my families involvement within the industry. over the years I have developed a strong passion for building, planning, and problem solving on site. I am committed to learning, growing, and delivering quality results in every project I am part of. This research investigates modern slavery risks in the Australian construction and development sector by analyzing modern slavery statements from large companies. Using a qualitative document review approach, the study examines how organizations manage risk strategies, engage stakeholders, and address contemporary slavery challenges through their governance and corporate responsibility frameworks.
